Why Come See Me?

6-4-2014+133A successful performance depends on many components coming together, some we do not even think about. As an athlete and musician, I have learned that it takes mastering the mental aspects of performing that leads to the most successful outcomes. I design specific programs for each client using mental toughness strategies and biofeedback training. Learning to use specific motivation strategies, anxiety reduction protocols, muscle relaxation techniques, breathing exercises, and peak performance/sport psychology techniques will keep you performing at an optimal level, and lead you to achieve success!

As a former professional softball pitcher, Division 1 three-sport athlete, and a musical performer, I have personally experienced the challenges and elation that happens on the field and on the stage. Over a 20-year span, I have helped athletes and performers of all ages reach their performance goals and realize their great successes! In addition to my own performance experiences, I have an Ed.D. in Counseling Psychology and a Masters Degree in Sport Psychology. I continue to teach psychology and nutrition courses at the collegiate level. In addition, I hold certifications by the Association of Applied Sport Psychology and the American College of Sports Medicine.
